At Pickleball IQ, we’re committed to helping you reach your goals while respecting everyone’s time. We know life can be unpredictable, so our policy is designed to be fair and clear for all.

Private Lessons

Cancellations and Rescheduling

First Late Cancellation or No-Show: Life happens! If you need to cancel or miss a session within 24 hours for the first time, there’s no charge for the session itself. However, the client will still be responsible for covering any applicable court fees.
Second Late Cancellation or No-Show: A 50% session fee will apply.
Third and Subsequent Late Cancellations or No-Shows: The full session fee will be charged for any additional occurrences.

We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. This helps us accommodate other players and keep schedules running smoothly.

Late Arrivals

If you’re running late, we’ll make the most of the remaining time, but sessions will still end at the scheduled time to respect the next client’s booking.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late without notifying us, the session will be considered a no-show, and the above policies will apply.

Reset Policy for Missed Sessions

Everyone deserves a fresh start! If you go 6 months without a late cancellation or no-show, any prior occurrences will no longer affect your account.

Weather-Related Cancellations

For outdoor sessions, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll happily reschedule or provide a credit for a future session. No fees will apply for weather-related cancellations.

Emergency Exceptions

We understand that emergencies happen. If something unexpected arises and you need to cancel within 24 hours, please let us know. We’ll review your situation on a case-by-case basis and do our best to work with you.

Coached Gameplay & Matchplay

We understand that unexpected situations may arise, and we want to ensure fairness to all participants in our coached gameplays and matchplay sessions. These are challenging to handle since there’s multiple player schedules and court reservations involved.

Finding a Replacement

If you are unable to attend your scheduled coached gameplay or matchplay session, we kindly ask that you find another player of similar skill level to backfill your spot at least 24 hours before the lesson.

First Strike Policy

If you are unable to find a replacement and need to cancel, you will be responsible for covering any court fees incurred by the group. Additionally, a strike will be applied to your account.

Second Strike Policy

On your second strike, you will be charged for the court fees and 100% of the lesson fee. After two strikes, you will no longer be eligible to participate in coached gameplay or matchplay sessions.

Pickleball IQ will come to you! We offer our lessons from Davidson to Concord all the way south to Northlake! Students are responsible for securing a court, with the exception of Sports Connection - Northlake, where Pickleball IQ must reserve the court. Please note that when Pickleball IQ reserves an indoor facility, the indoor court fee of $25/hr will be added to the lesson.

Absolutely! Our Coached Gameplays are curated by our Pickleball IQ Coaches to be competitive and stretch your skills. If you want the best competition, then you can select a Smoke Game and go against 5.0+ players.

Pickleball IQ services are open to all skill levels and offers 1on1, 2on1, Coached Gameplay w/ Pro, Coached Matchplay, Video Analysis, and Smoke Games. We work backwards from our community meaning if there’s a service you think would benefit everyone’s game then we’ll create it!

Absolutely! Pickleball IQ provides beginner-friendly lessons focusing on the Pickleball IQ Blueprint, our 5-phase system designed to help you play smart and control the game.
